Just had to share. Yesterday, Solomon got a new bigger bachelor pad. He went from the 1/2 gallon to a 2.5 gallon Minibow. He's happy as a clam...immediately started his bubble nest.

And I bought my first female on Saturday too. Compared to My Boys, she's an itty bitty teeny tiny thing..barely an inch, if that. Cute as a button. She's moved into Solomon's old pad. :)

aawww, I love females, they're terrible jumpers though, I have 1 who pops out of her tank everytime I remove her lid to feed her  almost gave me a nervous breakdown the other night when she jumped out and flipped behind my desk   (she's fine, just worried about the food when I picked her up)

congrats on your new addition

thanks :D

she hasn't exhibited any jumping tendencies ...although I try to be careful with all my bettas cause I know their jumping reputation

aw!!!!!!! u're female sounds just like citrus in colour........i wish i could get another betta!!!!!!!!! :hyper: i've never had either of my betta's jump out or even attempt to :D have fun

LOL!!!!! sorry about that but I cracked up laughing reading yoru post wuvmybetta, I hope it didn't offend you and I hope shes fine. However my betta ain't a jumper like some are (Luckily :D ).

forgot....Congrats on your new addition :D

:*)
it's my own fault that they're all acrobats :*) , I hand feed them live brine, they take it off of the tip of my finger....so when they see me coming they prepare to snag and this one gets so excited she does flips, I have 3 other jumping females that have yet to leave their tanks....but they do come all the way out of the water, they just have better aim when it comes to landing  the rest of the girls are very polite and patiently wait for me to put the shrimp in the water

and yes, she was fine :D , covered in rabbit fur that had blown behind the desk, but fine :D , she acted like nothing even happened when I plopped her back in ;) , just looked around as if to say....."where's the shrimp?!?!"
