Solenoid Valves

Just a quick question re the above. Just bought a JBL Co2 set minus the solenoid valve, do I need to buy a JBL valve or could i get any? I've seen an Aqua medic for a resonable price and from what i can mke out the valve sits inline with the tubing?

Is this right?

I have the complete JBL Co2 set up including the pH monitoring equipment.
You are correct in saying the valve sits inline with the tubing. and I suppose any make solenoid valve would suffice as long as the inlet/outlet connectors fit the tubing supplied.

I can confirm the aqua-medic solenoid is OK with JBL tubing as I have just bought both & they connect together perfectly.
