I have been growing out some BN's for months now and need to sell some.

I have a male and female in a 44ltr tank that are approx 3-4 inches long, the male is developing bristles already.

I also have loads of other babies ranging from 2 weeks old all the way to 6+ months.

For the large male and female i was looking for £15 for the pair. Whilst they don't breed at the moment, they would be an ideal match for the future.

All the others are £3-£8 depending upon size.

I have passed some stock to my LFS, they sell them for £18 each!!!! They can't get enough of them, last time i took 18 to them and they sold in 1 week. I'm negotiable on price if I’m over pricing them!

My tank is disease free, well planted and my breeding trio spawn every 2-3 weeks.

The pics were taken about 5 mins ago, the two large BNs upstairs hide when i try to take a pic!!!

Collection only. I live just outside Bishops Waltham in Hampshire, junction 11 on the M3 or 7 of the M27. I travel to Lightwater or Junction 3 of the M3 often so could meet people there.

it depends on how big they are the ones in taunton sell 8wk old ones for 3.99 each and the bigger ones ie adults for 19.99 and if its a piar they got from someone they sell them for 45.00

it really does depends how big they are the ones on Tacklebury is selling these are upto 3ins so these wld be alot more then the 3.99 ones each plus some if they are 2ins or bigger they not going to be 3.99 each sorry

these are pretty large adults. i would say they are around 4 inches.

I have to agree with the size = price argument here. Our lfs sell juveniles 2cm @ around £4.00, young adults 3cm @ around £7.00 the main reason being they cant be SEXED yet, for larger adults that can be sexed they charge around £13.00 and these seem to be mainly males for sexed pairs £25.00 upward seems the norm and dont forget the measurements DONT include the TAIL FIN. I personally would rather buy from private local breeders anyway. Plus if you dont like the price dont buy!!!!!

im not being snooty im just saying, but i personally would prefer a juvi and watch it grow.
