Looking to go in a new direction, may look into marine fish. I wouldn't say they've been around the block, they're just a few i've acquired from a few different people

Plus they become quite lazy when they get bigger and well, sad to say rather boring fish. Also near impossible to move on as very few people have tanks big enough

Afraid so i really should have found them their own tank but the other half just wouldnt... lol

it was amazing to see them defend the batch, even down to the last few eggs!

What ate them? Other fish? If it was other fish then that's great. A new pairing usually takes a few attempts to get it right.

Yup other fish, mainly the green sev,

I think they might be getting ready again, they're cleaning the same area again and becoming quite aggressive.
