How big are the fry now? How many fry are there? This is really a tough question. Too small and you end up with sick babies, in with other fish and some will be eaten. For now the guppy tank sounds best, maybe even move guppies? But if you have a lot of fry...

Little more info please? :D

i have not got any fry at the mo
i just want to know where do move them when i get some

Hi,

Get rid of the guppy fry and leave the bristlies with mum and dad. There is no guarantee that they will breed by the way. I had a breeding pair and the male died now i have another male of the same variety who shows no interest in breeding, there is also a juvie i left in who i think is female so i'm waiting to see if he will breed with her when she gets bigger. She's 2 inches at the minute so theres still a chance she might be a he. Unless your selling them really small you'll probably end up keeping them for longer than 3 months.

will the guppies fry get annoying for the BN plecs
oh right i might get a breeeding pair than

thanks

The guppy fry won't annoy the plecs but the tank will be overstocked and so the growth of any babies will be slowed down. I had some bristlenose plec fry in an 18 gallon tank with platy fry no problems. The baby bristlenose plecs will eat algae wafers and cucumber.

Emma :)
