and we got some puffers in. About 5-6 red-eye puffers and 1 figure 8 puffer. I was so excited when we got them. The red-eye puffs are cute, too bad I don't have any room for them.
Anyway, I was standing there talking to another girl that works there as well and said "Ooooo, these can be some mean SOB's!" The guy that works in the "animal" department was like "No they're not mean. I had some in with neon's and never had a problem." I just rolled my eyes and walked away.
I really don't understand why they let Un-fish-ducated people work in that department. This is the same guy that tried to tell me that painted glass fish weren't injected with dye, but fed "special" food to get the coloring. I then asked him to explain to me how, then, they had the "perfect" lines? He said that was the fishes digestive tract.
I think they just don't like it when a female knows more then they do.
Oh, and the other guy that works in the animal department said that there is no such thing as a FW puffer. That my dwarfs won't live long because they need brackish water. He asked me where I heard they were strictly FW, I told him the place where I got them (PetSmart) and many many sites online. He told me to never believe anything a petstore tells me (which means I shouldn't believe him then!) and not to believe everything I've read on the internet.
Sorry, just had to rant a little...it's over now...lol
Thanks for listening,
