I resently got a new tank(two weeks ago) and after only a week two of the angel fish spawned and then today we noticed three of our catfish goiing after one that has a swollen belly. Are these guys going to spawn too?
Now I've noticed one of our clown laoches has a swollen belly, while the other doesn't. But these guys are new to the tank, and we got them only two weeks ago from the petshop, while the others were already adults. Are these guys ready to have babies too?
Oh and how long after the angelfish eggs are laid do they start freeswimming because they now after a week have a visible tail and pair of eyes, with the round thing in the middle which was the egg and when should we seperate them form the parents?

Thank you soooo much for any responses!

Added to may fish to fast.
Clown loaches don't breed in tanks, very hard.
Need to look at the size of the tank in gallons or litres.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Had bad advice adding to many fish to the tank to soon.
Full stock list of how many fish and which type.

Actually, the fish that were in there were in theere for a while. They are not new fish, and not a new tank- just a new place.

Ya. Someone was moving and couldn't keep it or the fish, so we took it. The fish that were there are all adults but we bought the clown loaches because we had a snail problem and we adding five small tetras that were in another tank(also adults).

Go to the new world cichlid part of the forum about the angels eggs they will be able to advise you more.
Good luck
