I bought three albino cory cats for my ten gallon I've been working so hard on....they are so freaking cute...I think I could watch them for hours, lol. I'm amazed at how they fast they zip around the tank...psh, they spend more time swimming in a little line from the bottom to the top of the tank than they do cleaning. I don't think these little fish ever sleep!
My betta wasn't too sure what to think of them at first (he's never been with other fish before)...he kind of layed at the bottom of the tank right beside them to check them out when I first put them in, now he just watches them zip around him. He doesn't seem to mind having other fish in the tank, thank goodness....I don't think he knows what to think of the little guys. :)

Anyway, I named them Do, Re, and Me (I needed three names that went together since there is no way for me to tell them apart.)

It's really nice to see fish enjoying the tank you worked so hard on...I'll post pictures soon. :D

They sound adorable! I can't wait to get a few corys myself. The more I hear about them the more I want them.

Hope to see pics soon.

Their a great species of fish cories (One of my favs)...Hope for the best and that you get a pair ;)

Corys are so much fun, Rhapsody.

They are probably still quite young; that's why you can't tell them apart. In the next few months you might see one or two growing larger than the other(s). The larger will be the female(s), the smaller male(s). :D

Don't forget that they will need more food than what is left over from the betta's dinner. Corys are easy to feed. They will eat flakes, freeze dried worms, spirulina discs, etc. And if you want to give them a real treat, feed them some live or frozen blackworms. They love them and your betta will too.

Yes you can also tell from viewing them from the top of the tank...the females look like a balloon while the males are distinctly slimmer ;)

Rhapsody they sound really gorgeous, I'm v jealous :p . Can you tell me, do corys need to be kept in groups? I would love to get some peppered corys but I'm worried about overstocking my tank.

Wow...they sound fantastic....!

Got any pictures..?

Have fun watching them!

Corys are a schooling fish. They will not usually survive if they are kept alone. If they do they be very skittish. Schools of 3 or 6 are a minimum.

Two are ok, three is better and more than that, it's a cory cat party!
