Ok, I have 5 email accounts, I only use two...sometimes three. For all aquabid transactions I use one account, a uwyo email address. Last week I recieved 5 emails on my yahoo account from a transhipper asking for payment on my fish. I currently am waiting for 2 fish, not 5. I never ever use my yahoo account, my name on it is Kim (not Stephani) and I check it about once a week.

I checked my aquabid account history, and it backs my claim that I have two fish coming, one of the five I was emailed about. So I emailed the transhipper, asking for details on these fish, and how they got the email address. No word as of yet.

I did however recieve an additional fish email to my uywo account regarding the other of the fish that I am waiting for. I once again emailed the transhipper about this. It is soooooo much cheaper to ship multiple fish at once, and regardless of what is going on, I want to have them both (or all) shipped in one pop. No word back. In addition, I live in Wyoming, it's cold, it will soon be much much colder. Below zero colder. I need to get these fish ASAP, but I'm not going to blindly send money.

Now tonight I recieved an email from one of the sellers asking if I have recieved my fish yet. This fish is one I am expecting, but I have not even paid the seller yet, as this is the first I have heard back from him, after I emailed him asking how much and who to send the money to.

1. What fish are these I am being asked to pay for?
2. How did they get that email address?
3. Why are fish being sent to me that have no aquabid trail?
4. Why are sellers sending fish to the transhipper before they have recieved payment? Where do the fish go if I (or any buyer) punked out?*

*The fish has now been paid for ;) I didn't punk out :p

Now just on an similar subject, I am also irritated with the other transhipper here in the states. I paid $27 for priority shipping (she lives two hours from me ). My fish arrived within twelve hours of my payment and the package cost $4.75 to ship. Now I understand box, heat pack, etc...but $23?! Seems a little extreme :sly: I have emailed this transhipper twice and no response. :grr:

Thats the biggest downfall in buying overseas. The communication. They all try to do it right, but understanding each other is the trouble. From what I've gathered from several who buy regularly from overseas, is to ask questions as if you was asking a child. I don't mean they can't think any better than a child, but the language barriers prevent asking in a normal way. Be specific, just not detailed or lengthy. It's not because they are from overseas, it's just the language differences. Sounds like they have you mixed up with another buyer and got emails crossed. Good luck.

All went well with the sellers, it's the transhipper's who aren't talking to me -_-
