We just got (this past Friday) a new snowflake pleco and placed him in our quarantine tank. He has hardly moved from one spot in the back of the tank. I’m wondering if his mouth is injured or if this is how it’s supposed to look (hard to take clear pic)?

It looks like it has excess mucous on the mouth. this is the fish's way of protecting a damaged area. If the water quality is good and the tank is clean, any minor injuries heal up by themselves.

You can do a 75% water change and gravel clean every day for a week to help fish recover from minor injuries. The water changes reduce the number of disease organisms in the water and allow the fish's immune system to work better.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.
