I've been reading a little about morays, as I want to get a marine tank in the future and I've read that Snowflakes don't hunt fish, compared to other morays, as long as they are well fed. Is this true?

Also, could I have a mandarin with one ???? or would it eat it?

I've always wanted an eel and am ready to try it, but if it will eat my mandarin then I will scratch it off my list....the stock I HAVE to have are 2 black and white perculas and a blue mandarin, so I'll base stocking around these 3 critters.

I've read that the snowflakes eat inverts...will that totally limit my clean up crew?

Any experienced opinions would be very helpful!!!! :D

I have a snowflake and yes once they get old enough they will take a snap at your perculas...maybe not the mandarin. Basically they will snap at anything sizable to them. They sometimes even have a go at things a tad bigger then their heads. :shifty: They are wonderful fish though, and I recommend them. :good:

They are more than likely to have a go at eating your clean up crew at some point or another. Don't be surprised if hermits and ornamental shrimp become snacks.

So they might be alright? OK...I may have to try 1!! I just don't want it to be like suicide for the fish!!!
