I recently added 9 Amano shrimp to my 30 gallon aquarium. I have several bottom feeders: 3 African dwarf frogs and 7 corys. My problem is that the shrimp zero in on the sinking pellets and wafers and carry them off before anyone else can get to them. They usually carry them to the upper levels of the fish tank and my neon tetras get most of the crumbs before they reach the bottom of the tank--in other words, my shrimp and neons are getting over-fed while my bottom feeders are probably starving! Has anyone else had this problem and how have you handled it?

that's mostly how the shrimps eat , they nibble algae all day and then at feed time eat bottom feeder wafers
all i do is allow for the extra amanos by increasing the amount of wafers/pellets i add
at least it means your amanos are being fed properly as a lot of people when they get them have them die on them from starvation , thinking they can survive solely on algae

try adding some butternut squash , cucumber and courgette slices to the tank the corys and the shrimps will love it
all my fish nibble at it too

To ensure my corys get some food i break the pellets into 3/4 peices, the shrimp still swim off with 1 or 2 bits but enough stays on the bottom for the corys to eat.
