Snales... Grr

6 ottos in a 20? Isn't that a bit much? I thought the general rule was 1 for ever 10gallons. Hope you are supplimenting their diet

Yea I know it is a bit much It has been that way since Oct. -_- But for some reason they are doing fine-some are really fat. I plan on selling them also, and soon.

They sell green spotted puffers at my lfs. Would the puffers harm the plants? (I won't add the pufers until the other fish are gone)
Yes, plus the plants could not live in the water green spotted puffers require (alkaline and Brackish). they would soon die.
Under no circumstances should you add a dwarf puffer to your tank now, the angels would all be killed by the next morning, Yo yo loachs (botia lochata) make good snail eaters, but can be a little aggressive, clown loachs (botia macracanthus) are also very good, but get too big. Your best bet would to be to get a trio of Yoyo's, but not until you get some of the angels out of the tank, Loachs are sensitive, and with a tank that overstocks, the toxins in the water may be to much for them.
But in all Honesty, snails are not that big of a problem, I have at least 40 snails in my 10 gallon, along with 2 platys and 3 kuhli loachs, and not once has a snail attacked one of my fish, or done anything to make me want to remove them from the tank. :)
