I used to keep my snakehead in the 10g, so all i had to do was drop the piece of fish in, and leave. When i return, the piece of fish would be gone.

Now however, it is in the 65g. I cannot just put the piece of fish in, since the other fish would eat it. It is also too scared of me to come out and eat when i feed the others. How do you think i should feed it?

Any ideas welcome

We feed Jethro with a snake stick. This is a par of gripping jaws on a long stick, used for feeding venomous or aggresive reptiles.

We simple pick up the food with the jaws and wiggle is in front of Jethro then drop it once we've got his attention. Works every time.

We also use live river shrimp that walk right up to him!

The thing is, i can't get his attention. it is only a juvenile at the moment, and runs and hides as soon as it sees me.

Ah, yes, we had this problem with Jethro until he got to know us, and even now he's not exactly outgoing.

We found that bloodworm, placed anywhere near him at lights out soon got eaten. They just smell too good! (we watch with a flashlight with a blue filter)

The other fish never even knew the food was there in the dark.
