snails

I posted earlier about my fancy tailed goldy tank being at 75f in temp.

will apple snails do ok with them in this tank as my LFS ordered me loads last week so i could choose which ones i wanted for my tropical tank and then they will put the rest for sale so i thought about some for this tank

it seems they will do okay, but remember they need 2.5 gallons per snail

I take it you aren't going to have live plants in your goldfish tank. Any variety of apple snail will make excellent tankmates for them then. IF you do have any live plants in there then you need the bridgesii type.....which will not eat plants unless its their last food alternative.

nope no live plants in the tank what so ever.

i did have 2 but the goldies eat them in like a week.
