snails!?

Hi, I've got some snails in my tank and was just thinking of letting them grow to see how they look when they're fully grown. (Don't ask why, i just think they're cool).

I put some lettuce in my tank and its like they couldn't care less if it was there or not. I heard that they all appear around the lettuce after a few hours. Do they only like certian types or what!?

snail typically won't congregate around food unless its dark. try turnng the lights off for a few hours and then take a look.
