My friend has offfered some to me, woul it be worth taking some off him and putting them into my tank they are the proper aquarium snails.
I'm not sure whether my pakistani loach will eat them though :shifty: the little terrors

Usually puffers only eat snails. I really like snails because they help keep the tank clean. I would go ahead and take them, but make sure that your current fish aren't prone to eating snails. Hope this helps!

I think all loaches eat snails. My cloun loaches love them. If your friend wants to get rid of them. I'd take them and let the loaches eat them.

if you start with 1 or 2 snails, pretty soon you'll have fifty. They are cool. I took mine out of my tank cause they were demolishing my plants. Plus I don't think they were tropical, cause they kept coming out of the water.
But yeah. I've not got a lot of little snails in a bowl which they just breed in.
