I'm trying to breed live pond snails as food for my electric blue crayfish.
What I've done is put the snails in a modified breeding trap that should allow the babies only to escape.
But, will the mature snails eat they're own eggs?

Thanks for any responses.

You're using some species of Physid or Planorbid I presume? If you only have one species, there will be no egg-eating issues. But, if you mix species, particularly something like Helisoma anceps (Planorbid) with a Physa species, there can be problems with that sometimes.
