Snails

I have lots of snails in my tank. Does anybody know if this is good or bad? I had to take my pleco out because he was getting too big and messing up my plants. My loaches don't seem to want to eat them.
I didn't bother much because there was only a few here and there, but after the weekend i stopped counting the snails at 50.

i don't think the snails pose any threat other than the fact that they will breed out of control.. what you are seeing now is only a taster!!!
