Snails Natural Predators....

I'm wondering what the snails natural predators are and if there are any that are peaceful and will not tear up a planted tank.

Try some loaches - (not just clowns) - many stay quite small

or some catfish species...

Well, I need to call my LFS and see how small of a clown loach he can get.

If he can get some 1"-1 1/2" ones then I will just pick them up. From what I understand they are extremely slow growers and this will give time for the plants to get well rooted.

there are things called pygmy chain loaches too...they are small, as the name suggests, and i *think* they eat snails...
