Snails Apear When There Are No Snail?

has this sort of thing happened to any one ?? i have 2 tanks one i put snails in the other i did not or i should say have not cuz its still new i looked in there today and theres lots of baby snails there ? now the strang thing is this happened befor with anuther of my tanks and the tank was in the same place this one is now ??? so im worryed maby they some thing that should not be in the tank ........i dont no can any typ of snail just apear?.........there has been no snails in this tank befor ether and theres to many of them to have come in of the plants i bort cuz i only have 4 plants in there at the moment cant any one surgest what maby going on here

It's still possible that your plants had lots of snails eggs.

i thort snails layed there eggs at the top of the tank on the side of the glass?

I thought it depends on the snail... and my zebra nerite snails have been spreading their eggs on my rocks. I'm thinking about getting rid of them... no worries, just to the store.

depends on the type of snail. most of them lay eggs under the water the only ones i know that lay them out of the water would be apple snails.

most probably your snails came in with your plants

ohhh right that sounds about right cuz i think the ones in my other tank are apple snails and they had there eggs on the glass that why i thort they were all like that but if there are typs that lay eggs under water they probly did come in on the plants cuz they are new plants out of intrest here i have had apple snails eggs on the side of the tank befor but they never seem to hatch any idears on why that may be?
