about a month ago i bought a plant and put it in my tank and snails were on it but not a lot so i thought nothing of it now there are hundreds of them and eggs all over the tank how do i get rid of them without buying a snail eating fish?

If you can't put a snail eating fish into your tank then you'll have to use an anti-snail medication. Any LF will stock it. Make sure though if you have any scaleless fish in your tank that you only use half the dose as the full amount will burn them.

If you or someone you know have snail eating fish in another tank you could use these ones as feeders. Just put a piece of cucumber/zucchini or lettuce into the tank at night, in the morning remove the vegies and it should be full of snails, then transfer it to the snail eaters tank for breakfast....free food

How is it that I've had snails plenty of times, but never had babies. But everyone else seems to get babies! I want some snail babies.
