Snail

I added 6 snails to my tank on Sat, 2 of them went straight off and starting exploring their new home whilst the other 4 just sat at the front of the tank not moving, they are alive just not doing much.

My question is do they take time to adjust to the new tank before doing much or could they be full from previously eating and just sleeping?

Also are they nocturnal?

I tried that but they didnt really do much, I just think I have the laziest snails in the world....either that or had a right old eat up before I went and got them.

Thats a good question and I would love to know my self, there are some pics of them on the last page of my journal if you could ID them I would appreciate it.

Turbo genus, not sure exactly which species yet. There are a few very similar looking ones with small differences in the operculum and how the grooves in the shell are placed. I agree with Nemo to give them some time. Although Turbos usually aren't well-fed at stores, if they did just have a bunch to eat, it's not unusual for them to sit like a lump for a couple of days before being active again.
