Woke up to this this morning, looks like eggs on a string. What is it?

Yes they'll hatch and they'll instantly become fish/filter food . The babies almoast never survive in a closed reef system.

Is it possible to scrape the eggs of the side carefully and put them in a breeding basket?

How quickly do these things hatch? At the beginning of the trail it looks a s if its alrewady started. There's tiny brown things all over it, but they're not moving.
