Still in the stock-planning stages for my new 160L tank, one addition is going to be one of these two loach varieties
Botia kubotai or Botia striata aka Burmese and Zebra loaches respectively
I've been told that all Botia will eat snails, and I had clowns before that certainly did.
Can I get confirmation off anyone that either of these varieties will eat them?

My Striata do, they love 'em.

My Kubs don't often get a look in as the Striata & Yoyos are bigger and more boisterous, but they are always interested when I throw snails in the tank.

zebra loaches will definetly eat them without question. My zebra cleared an infestation in just over a day. Great little fish.

great :D Striatas were the ones I was really interested in, I'm keeping 2 tanks (one to have loaches added loaches, one without) so there will always be a supply of snails to feed them :)

I do the same, I have a loach free tank where they breed something rotten and every now & then I harvest some and throw them in my big tank.
