I'm already looking into getting some weather loaches for my sub-tropical tank in a few months time, but i'm also wondering about getting some tropical bottom dwelling loaches. Only thing is, is that don't want all my guppy and platy fry born into the tank to be instantly eaten all the time? I'm interested in getting both snail eating loaches (i have a lot of trumpet snails/MTS which would not really be missed much) and normal bottom dwelling loaches- i like loaches which have a long and swim body shape in particular, which are sociable and peaceful fish.
