My mystery snails have made babies. I have seen 2 babies but there might be more. I never saw the egg clutch and I was checking every day to avoid this. Could they lay the clutch on the underside of my lid? I never thought to check there, only checked the sides of my tank. What can I do to get rid of them? I can try and pluck them out but that might prove to be very difficult, my tank has a couple of caves that are rather difficult for me to reach myself and I just feel bad about killing them for no real reason. Is there a fish or something else I could add that will eat the babies but leave the adult ones alone? Preferably a single thing since I'm pretty well stocked now. I have soft water at 78 degrees. The tank is 36"L x 24"H x 12"D / 45 gallons
45 Gallon:
2 Angels (Unknown Type)
2 Opaline Gourami
8 Black Veil Tetra
6 Pearl Danio
8 Emerald Cory
2 Julii Cory
1 King Tiger Pleco
1 Colombian Spotted Pleco
4 Mystery Snail + Unkown number of babies
4 Nerite Snail
Tall stem plants and ferns

Mystery snails lay their egg clutches out of the water, usually on the underside of a hood, lid, or even light fixtures

No reason to get rid of the two juvies, the clutches are easy to remove to prevent future broods
