we have just set up a new tank and after 2 days it is starting to smell. safewater has been added and biological supplement can anyone help and tell me if this is normal the water also is very cloudy, the filter is working fine helppppp

As long as you have no fish in it dont worry, asuming you washed you gravel, this is natural you tank dosnt have the nessesery bacteria to break down the waste in your tank, the smell ans water will clear as the tank matures.

when should i add the fish, is it when it no longer smells or is cloudy, what would happen if i put fish in too soon

I would leave things to settle down untill weekend.
I you water has cleared and is the right temp you should be able to put a few hardy fish in

Plats, gourami, corys are all good fish to start with.
Just add a few to give the bacteria something to feed on, then give it 2/3 weeks before you add any more fish.
