Smaragdina Setup ?

Hey fish people ! I was wondering if my new smaragina pair could be placed in my 29 without them being too stressed out ? Its very lighty planted and not that many places for hiding .

They're jarred atm and are depressed as ever , there are two golden wonder killifish in there .

I would place your pair in the tank and then work on getting it to work better for them.  It is better than them being jarred and depressed.  The killies might be a bit nippy or the smargadina might be a bit aggressive to the killies -- both are possibilities that you will need to prepare for. You will definitely need to look into getting more plants and hiding places for the fish in the tank. Wild bettas tend to be shy and need hiding places especially until they are used to their tank and the activity outside of it.
