I have a 125l, im going to get live rock soon, so extra turnover is needed.

Ive currently got:

1200lph(rated) from an external filter, although the flow is spread out over the surface.

Koralia 1(1500lph rated)

that comes to 2700lph(rated) over 125l = 21.6X turnover per hour

I need a powerhead for the right hand side of the tank, and want the smallest possible-i hate equipment!

Could i get away with a little koralia nano? would this be sufficiant? I quite like the thought of drilling a rock and having a powerhead inside, this could be a possibility and seen as i have some fake live rock to play with, i dont think would be a bad idea.

thanks
Adam

id have thought the nano would be fine. if you really hate equipment, what about a tunze stream in a stream rock? i think their smallest pump is about 2500lph though

awesome, i'll have a look at the tunze, i guess they are pretty silent like the koralias?

:good:

Im gonna go with the new koralia evolution, the 1600lph model is apparently the same small size as the 900 version, so that'll do, i'll just put it behind some rocksys

thanks
