Just got a small 20l for my room with sand substrate. Need to employ a couple of
Corys to play hoover. Any reccomendations? X

Personally i wouldn't keep any corys in a 20l,far too small, corys needs to be a group of 6+ to see the best in them, even pygmys/dwarf corys are little, but i wouldn't subject them to a small tank.

Corys shouldn't be used has hoovers in theory, they will eat leftover food, but dont necessary keep it clean, you'll still need to clean the sand weekly.

Sorry just my opinion :)

Perhaps you could get snails or maybe shrimps for that size tank?

+1 on the shrimp and snails...

Is this your first tank?

It is my second tank, I'm using it to raise my baby mollies n gupps in at the mo.
Also popped my endliers in as my main is a bit overcrowded x

i wouldnt be adding any more fish to it then if i were you, they will just suffer.

Only got 4 endliers and 3 molly fry in at the mo. As soon as the fry get bigger the're being rehomed :)

cory idea scrapped! i am now the proud owner of 3 ickle nano shrimp (athos, porthos and aramis). :)they have already set up home in my ornament :)

They are fascinating!! Got 2 cherry ones and a black one.
I always imagined that shrimp just ran about on the bottom but they love swimming about :)
Are they ok with a smidge of aquarium salt in the water?

What's the best thing to feed them, I know they will eat a bit of uneaten fish flakes.
Algae wafers? Boiled cucumber?
