Just found this sliding down my tank wall. Its about 4mm in width. I haven't introduced any thing other than fish in my tank. What is it? Thanks.

Looks like a rams horn snail to be. Harmless to your tank, but they will overpopulate fast. :)

I've only found 1 at the moment. I have no idea where its come from ha.
Where there’s one, there’s bound to be more, lol.

It could have come from anywhere. Plants are my best guess at this point. He could have come in as a baby and you may not have seen him.

You can throw him away (don’t flush him or throw him in any other body of water. The trash can is best) if you wish. I keep mine, because they are beneficial.

That sounds great. I'll just do that. Pleased it's not parasitic in any way. Thanks for the info. :)

Yep, a dwarf ramshorn snail. They stay super small and flat. Kinda cute. Just don't overfeed and their population should stay low
