Hi there, I got a couple of 15gallon (UK) tanks a while ago, one has been up and running for a while but i've not had time to get the other one going.

It was only after moving, and setting the tank up on the stand when I noticed this...

To give you a better idea about size...

The first shot was taken at a slight angle, so it's not as close to the inside silicone as it appears (it's around 2mm or so)

Is this tank a gonner, or would filling the hole where the glass was with silicone do the trick?

Thanks!

What thickness glass is it? Difficult to tell from the photo, but I would guess that cleaning it thoroughly and applying aquarium silicone would probably suffice. Leave for at least 48 hours before filling the tank.
