Small Oddball Tank

Right, well im interested in getting something that is truly predatory, but can fit into a small tank, something of arround the 10-17gallon mark.
Ive considered quite a few things, and id love a congo puffer, a frogmouth catfish and lots of other things, but i cant seem to find any congos, and frogmouths need live food, which isnt really something id want to do (allthough id have no problem with feeding earth worms, but its just getting them...)
So anyone got any ideas for a small tank, that are easily available, or can be sourced through a site?
