Has anyone tried this filter in their betta tank -- Azoo Palm Filter?

I saw it when flipping through the Drs. Foster & Smith catalog that came the other day and there was a customer comment saying they worked really well on 2.5 gallon tanks. I'd like an unbiased opinion. They look like they'd be great for on my two 2.5 gallons, and the price is right.

What do you guys think?

Yep, I have one. I'm actually using it for a 5 gallon tank and it actually does a real nice job! And it's silent! That was the first thing that jumped out at me. Only problem I had was getting it to fit, I had to cut some edging away from the tank so it would drop down the side, but that was nothing major and once I did that it fit perfectly. So just check to be sure it will fit your particular tank.

I have one too for my 10 gallon......But its not working now since its a breeding tank.....

Also I cant find the cartidges.. :grr:

I've got a few of them, and quite like them. They're great filters for the price!! I have one on my falx tank, and like Linda said, had to cut away edging to fit, but now it's fine. It pumps will in small tanks, or a bit larger, not to mention the fact its adjustable! I say go for it, a 2.5 is a nice size for one.

in my tank iv got this rely lame filter that runs on an air compresser and it makes so much noise with its bubbles n such...iv got 2 -_-

I'm running 3 Azoo filters on my 2.5 Gallon tanks and really like them. I also have a Red Sea one and I like the Azoo ones better. They're both quiet and run about the same but the Azoo fits on the tanks much better.

Just use poly-fil fluff :)

I have a few,I used to use them for water clean up after I did water changes on the small tanks. I don't use them anymore but I think they're great

It says up to 5 gallons... has anyone tried using it for a 1 gallon? I have undergravel filters for my 1 gals, but hate them because they make too much racket. Would anyone suggest using it for a 1gal?
