when my black marbel arrived the breeder shiped me an extra copper hm he had from a recent spawn, she is ___________ that long and is quite smale compared to my other females. how old do they have to be to breed them? im guessing shes 2-3 months old.

She probably could be bred at her current age, but not necessarily should be, especially if she is that small. She needs to be strong enough to handle the stress, and big enough for the male. You can start breeding around 3 months, but some breeders wait till around 5-6.
