what other fish are in the tank?

not techincally eels but you could have senegal bichirs, amoured bichirs, maybe ornate at a squeeze.

or, if youre looking really small the kuhli loaches, but only if the other fish are tiny too.

I have a 11" fire eel in my 55 gallon. He will be moving to my 75 as soon as I get it up and running.

I have a 18" & a9" fire and a 9" black spot. They are my favorites! The brown spot only get about 14 " and are very amazing and friendly. My local fish store had a 26" fire that sold for 80$ canadian before i could come back on pay day.Mine eat earth worms , minnows bloodworms and shrimp. Irecomend them to you or anyone with atleast a55gal tank.

tyre track and fire eels definitely get far too big for a 75g, i know a fire eel needs at least a 180g. What are the dimensions of the 75g?

I don't think any true eels (fish of the Order Anguilliformes) would be appropriate for a 75 gallon tank.
