Slow flow on Eheim 2017

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me figure out why my Eheim has a slower flow rate now. I have only had it for 1 month and after i took the carbon filter media out the flow rate has been slow ever since. I have drained and primed the filter many times and still the flow rate is less than what it first was. There are no kinks in the lines so I'm not sure whats going on here. Any help is much appreciated.

have you checked that the floss(assuming you use floss) is not colgged?

Thanks, all the lines, connections and media are clean from blockages and seeing as this is a new unit I do not think there could be a problem with the impeller... its driving me nuts trying to figure out whats wrong
