Slit In Pleco Fin

there is a missing section in my bns tailfin it looks like the fin has been parted, its nufin serious hes never been ill but it look wierd anyone know why

It will heal on it's own.

Keep up with the tank cleanup and keep an eye on the nitrogenous compound levels.

If you feel this might have happened due to aggression, find and isolate the aggressor, or maybe the pleco if you have another suitable tank.

yes i was going to move a larger more agresive one to remove algy this could be the way, thanks!
