Slate Floor,info Please

hi all. just wondering if i can use the slate floor tiles in the fish tank?i plan to cut to shape with built in hides at the back of my tank,my gears sitting doing nothing now,so iam going to plan and build a new back for my tank,so any feedback as to wether its safe to use ie non toxic,thanks in advance,,kenny

Absolutely... I take cutoff slate strips for my Angels to breed on... Approx 2" wide by six Inches high....

they wont fall on them,i hope,,anyway another members asking further down about wall tiles they made the same, but some members seem to think they not suitable for the tank?,,are they ok as i was off today to buy them,the ones iam going to buy are floor slate tiles,any info before 2ish today please as thats when iam off for them,thanks,,kenny

Wall tiles/Floor tiles.... They are safe to use....
