My girl was spayed on Monday and when I tried to sit her up to take a photo of her wound site, this is what she did

Well, Skye is usually a severely hyped and ready-to-go type of dog so this was pretty quiet for her. To be fair she slept most of the day and moped around feeling very sorry for herself.

Hope your Mum's dog was okay though! I know there's so many things that can go wrong - Skye's not out of the woods yet but I think she'll be all right if she doesn't do anything really stupid before she's healed!
