Hi all

I bought some skunk cories yesterday,i think theres 2 males/1 female, going by the pointed wide dorsal fin,is that correct?

Anyway i hope to breed these in the future, although reading about them,it seems that they aren't the easiest to breed.

Is it right they breed around tank temp 22 degrees,if this correct, would it be better to slowly drop the tank temp from 25 degrees to 22 or would it be better to do a cold water change?
Obviously its a community tank with harleys, platys, guppies, tetras and cories would this cold w/c affect them to much?
I normally temperature match on w/c.

Sorry for these questions

any advice please :)
Thanks

im no expert but i have hear that they often breed after a big water change 40-50%. if they do breed or any other fish put the eggs in a differnt tank. :good:

Thanks harry :)

I have managed to raise some leopard cories, but i haven't breed skunks, the temp ideal for their breeding is 22 degrees,so i wanted to know if a drop of 3 degrees would affect all my other fish :)
