I have recently acquired 6 juvenile L333 King Tiger plecos. I've placed them in a 50 gallon tank with my wife's guppies.
Since dropping them in, I've never seen more than 2 out on the sand substrate. They are always hiding within a big piece of driftwood. It's been 2 weeks now and I'm not even sure they're eating. I've been dropping Hikari sinking wafers when the lights go out but it's the guppies that end up eating them.
Does anyone have any tips on how to entice them to come out in the open or at the very least get some food? Should I try and move them to a bare tank to monitor and make sure they are eating? Suggestions on what to feed to coax them out?
