skinny disease in clown loaches

hi
has anyone got any info on how to treat skinny disease in clown loaches??? this is not for me but for a friend desparate for help as one of his clown loaches appears to be suffering from this ailment. i need treatments avail in the uk as we do not have access to antibiotics that you guys in the us can buy easily.

"Skinny disease" is almost always associated with intestinal parasitism by spironucleus flagelates. Spirohexol from JBL is a suitable treatment. It is generally available here, don't know about the UK.
