Which posoligy did you give Discus ? And what is the smallest posology recommanded for dog or cat ?It’s called prarintel plus and it includes
Praziquantel 50 mg
Pyrantel 144 mg
Febantel 150 mg
All of them seems to have clamped fins after the treatment

I have 6 discus in my 53g blackwater tank and 1 of them died week ago and I think it’s too late for another one.
I also used Mebendazole week ago and I just read online that it can caused internal bleeding.
I gave them 2 tablets, I got the dosage from the fish health book.Which posoligy did you give Discus ? And what is the smallest posology recommanded for dog or cat ?

We don’t have these med in my countryJBL Gyrodol : 1 drop/litre or 5 ml/100 litres.
Sera Trémazol 1 ml per 20 litres.
And pieces of garlic every day all year long.
JBL Gyrodol treats tape worms.I asked a friend on how he deworms his Discus, he said :

He uses Gyrodol and Tramezol when finding one but not the other. It will be better to use something else such as JBL Nedol(recommended for Discus) that can kill different types of worm.
Seems like the combination of medications are more effective just like the Prarintel that has 3 different ingredients.I forgot to mentionHe is using two types of medication to treat the tape worms.

And also NedolPlus. I fixed my post.
Thanks for this link, I think the shipping is the cheapest I’ve seen online for this med.If you want just Praziquantel, check this

Nope, they have not been eating after medAre those Discus that have turned black still eating?
Nope! Were any of the fish doing loop de loop, (spinning) before you treated them?
About 8 hours and I think I overdosed, because I added medication to the food after they pooped out worms, though 90% twice a day should have clean it up by now right? How long was the medication in the water for before you did a water change?
Want to be sure....I gave them 2 tablets, I got the dosage from the fish health book
