Im getting ideas for when i get my marine setup later this year.Is a skimmer needed,i want to keep fish obviously aswell as live rock and corals.Would i also need a Filter as soon as i start to cycle my tank or will the live rock do it all for me.Also what lighting would i need it will be about a 150 - 200 litre tank - will this be O.K?Lastly what R.O is best for his size tank and would any powerhead do?
Thanks this will help be alot

Well, in a tank that size (around 40gal) a skimmer is reccomended if you start pushing the stocking limits. Especially if you want to keep corals along with the fish ;). You dont have to run a skimmer from day 1 but it can only help. For an RO unit, I'd look for something in the 75GPD range and for powerheads, Tunze or Seio, enough to give 20x tank turnover per hour
