ok i have a red sea prizum hob skimmer and even when the flow is at max the bubbles still donw overflow into the cup, or will the bubbles stay ontop as the protien builds, and then overfolw into the cup?

tank is empty at the mo only LR in it and a hermit crab as its still cycling.

i have seen a lil fether duster thing on my LR tho today

When you actually have something to skim the bubbles will crawl up the neck and into the collection cup, at the moment you have little or no organic waste in the water to remove.

kool thats what i was thinkin . i went to aload of trouble makin a skimmer (that worked ) then when my uncle found out i had started a nano reef, he gave me one of his old skimmers
