At the moment my hangon skimmer is pants, i don`t even know what brand it is.. but... it has a pump that flows the water through, and draws air in through the middle of intake, the skimmer skimms as best as it can and then trickles over into the tank. I have added a wooden air stone to try and help it on its way.
Question is.. if i were to add the air pump to the intake valve for were the air is drawn in.. or should i just use a more powerful pump? I have one but having trouble actually trying to have the air drawn in.. at the moment spending £150+ is no no.. as me gf is pregnant, and she will not let me spend any money!
