well my skimmer cup broke so it's now been deemed useless. Or so I thought, until I blocked up the airway, removed the cup section completely and turned the valve to max.
After running it in a bucket of dirty water for half an hour and by adding some filter sponge it collected all the crap and just pumped out crystal clear water.
So I am now gonna add a large media bag of phosphate remover and drop my......er.......reactor in one of my weirs.
I do have a direct replacement on it's way to me from flee bay for 20 smackers delivered.
I might by another one and convert that into a nitrate and calcium reactor if this one works out well.
