Skimmer And Filter Growth Life Id

I took a few bad pictures, and a video of growth in my HOB filter and in my skimmer. I'd like an ID so i can google it up...

they are white but the algae makes them redish.. they feel and look slimmy

Maybe, do they look like the egg sacs from the movie Alien, only miniature?

We wont be able to tell you from those pictures. Maybe remove one and place it on a dish/plastic lid so your not shooting through dirty Acrylic Skimmer chambers/cups. If there are that many, it might not hurt to lose one.

They could be egg masses, which have been layed in Skimmers before, but they could also be tunicates/sponges. Are they motile?
